Colts Award Winners for the 2017 Season

At the Presentation Evening held on Thursday 22nd March, the following Colts won trophies for their contributions during the 2017 Season. U11 Most Improved Player - ADAM GARDNER U13 Player of the Year - JACK BEBER U11 Player of the Year - CHARLIE WALTERS U13 Clubman - DONI FOUMAKIS U11 Clubman - EDWARD COOK U13 Most Improved Young Player - ROSS GARDNER U11 Most Improved Young Player - DANIEL VINCENT The curious ones amongst you may wish to look at all the previous winners' names. Look at all those youngsters who won awards when they were Colts. Whilst some have grown-up and continue to play for Reed (and in some cases, for neighbouring clubs), we wonder where are the others now? From the Menu along the top of this Homepage, choose "History", then "Seasons Awards" and pick the relevant Year Group. The earliest awards for Colts date back to 1991.

Membership Form – Subscriptions are due

RCC Members, The cricket season is fast approaching and applications for Club membership and the payment of Annual Subscriptions are due. Please take the time to complete the application form, so the club database is updated. In order to ensure that all interested parties are kept up to date with club information, it is important that the Form is completed and returned to me either by post or e-mail: Mrs Cilla Robertson, 1, Rose Villas, Jacksons Lane, Reed, Royston, Herts. SG8 8AB email: cilla@richardandcilla.co.uk At the 2017 AGM the decision was taken to leave the Membership Subscription Fees the same as for 2017 as follows: Adult Playing Members £85 Reduced to £70 if paid before 1st May. Junior Playing Members (aged 14 and above on 1st Sept 2017 AND in full-time education) £35 Reduced to £25 if paid before 1st May. Colt Members £50 Non-Playing Members and Vice-Presidents £25 If paying online the details are: Reed Cricket Club. Reed CC Pool & Darts Night 2018 – Saturday 21st April Do you fancy yourself as the number one Pool or Darts player at Reed CC? A Celebration of 50 years League Cricket in Hertfordshire.

SENT ON BEHALF OF THE SARACENS HERTFORDSHIRE PREMIER CRICKET LEAGUE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. A Celebration of 50 years League Cricket in Hertfordshire. THE EVENT On Friday 21st September 2018 the Saracens Hertfordshire Premier Cricket League (SHPCL) will be hosting a celebration dinner at the home of cricket – Lord’s. The dinner will be held at the Nursery Pavilion and whilst the final details have not been confirmed the event will consist of a pre-dinner drinks reception followed by a three course meal including ½ bottle of wine per person, still and sparkling water and coffee. Lord’s has an excellent reputation for food and quality service. GUEST SPEAKERS The SHPCL is extremely fortunate to have secured the services of Jonathan Agnew MBE (“Aggers") and Alison Mitchell, (the leading lights of BBC’s Test Match Special team), for the evening. PRICING FOR THE EVENING CELEBRATION The cost for the evening is £90.00 per person. RESTRICTIONS The event has a maximum capacity of 550 people. After offering places to their main sponsors and to panel umpires, the SHPCL committee has decided to offer each club 5 seats for the evening. If there are any spare seats, each club will then be offered an additional 2 seats if they so wish. (These will be openly drawn by the SHPCL on the 23rd April.)
