With the new GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) coming into force from 25th May 2018, the way data is collected and stored will change. Separate information about this will be posted out in due course. It does require that members to complete & return the registration form annually to keep their membership status.

The easyfundraising section of the Reed Club website, organised by Michael Curtis, generates income for the club – please take the time to look at these ‘Ads’ and if you ‘shop’ on line go in through the link from the Club Website to download the easyfundraising Toolbar or App. You will not pay extra on your goods but the club receives a percentage of the amount spent.

If you order heating oil consider using the Boiler Juice app and name Reed Cricket Club as your local community centre. Boiler Juice then donate a percentage to the cricket club.

Our 100 CLUB is another valuable source of income for the Club and new members are always welcome. Please contact Michael Curtis, 07974 929301 for further information.

The online shop for all cricket clothing is now live, which is supplied by Tylers’ Sportswear. Visit http://www.tylers-sportswear.co.uk/Catalogue/Sports-Webshops/Cricket-Clubs/Reed-CC

Our Club has also adopted the ECB’s Policy of “Safe Hands”. Anyone involved in captaining, coaching, managing, umpiring or scoring, and those playing in teams involving any children under 18 must be DBS vetted through the ECB. If you do not have a DBS disclosure and need one please contact me a.s.a.p. The application is done online.

All members should take to time to read the Code of Conduct which is also on the Reed Cricket Club Website and in the Fixtures Booklet.

Please make sure that your FULLY completed membership forms are returned to me as soon as possible, even if paying by Direct Debit. League matches start at the beginning of May and only PAID UP members will qualify for selection.

Selection takes place on Monday evenings – please make your availability known, either by telling the team captains Tom Greaves, Philip Frenay Marcus Baker, Robert Lankester or a member of the Selection Committee; Matt Bowles, Jack Tidey, Stuart Smith, Karl Ward, Paul Garrott.

Yours sincerely,

Cilla Robertson.
