Well, here we are again! Is it a year since the last one?

This year, President’s Day 2014 will take place on Sunday, 27th July at Reed Village Green, commencing at 11am.

The format will be similar to 2013, 50 overs per side; the teams will be captained by Tim Tidey and (my son), Andy Emms.
Tim keeps wicket for the 2XI and is Jack and Sean’s Dad.
Ex Reed player, Andy, now lives in Suffolk with his family, and plays for Garboldisham CC, where Reed will play the final game of their Norfolk Tour on the 26th August. Only an hour’s drive away – all welcome!

The match is scheduled to last all day. The Village Green will look its best, and we hope for similar weather to last year! A barbecue will run from mid-afternoon, and the Club bar will be open for refreshments, as usual. There is a playground on the opposite side of the Green. There may even be a paddling pool to keep the children happy, if not clean!

So, please do come along and support the Club. Make a day of it and pray for good weather, yet again!

Yours sincerely,

Andrew Emms
President.
