The other opening bowler Karl Ward picked up the first wicket with his second ball and and claimed two other Bengeo wickets early in the innings putting pressure on the Bengeo batsmen who were 56-5 and Karl Ward finishing with figures of 3-17.

Kallum Ward looked forward to bowling to claim the last wicket but Robertson claimed the last wicket before Kallum Ward could even finish warming up. Reeds fielders all played their part in keeping the runs down through out the Bengeo innings restricting the to 103 all out off of 23.2 overs.

Reeds opening batsmen almost saw the game to a close with Matt bowles getting caught out on 46 and Ed Blissett being caught out on 37. The pair batted very well, there was a range of shots and from the start it seemed like these two wanted to wrap the game up quickly.
