The Saturday Firsts did not score enough runs to prevent Preston winning a friendly at Reed. Phil Lill reached the forties. Meanwhile, ton-up Phil Frenay and Richard Johnson (78) notched-up 203 in partnership at the Freman College Oval in a win over Braughing by 100 runs. Alex Kelly took 4 wickets as Braughing were all-out for 177. Finally, Mitchell Cooper scored 80 and Sean Tidey 75 not out chasing 169 in a friendly at Preston on a cold and damp Sunday.
