2014 Club Tour Update
Hello all, The 2014 club tour is here. This is your chance to sign up to what is regarded by many as the best weekend of the year. Myself and the other tour organisation squad have yet again worked hard to secure you a cheap tour, in a hotel with a bed and a roof that MAY not evict us after half hour. Yes… hello Travelodge Norwich Central Riverside! This year, all you need to secure your place on tour is £50 – YES JUST 50 ENGLISH POUNDS. This will cover your hotel and tour shirt. All that will be left to pay then is coach travel to and from the 3rd game (the other 2 days are close enough for taxi jobs) – the coach we will sort nearer the time. So, despite the world recession, despite the cost of living going up and despite the cost of beer and out of date peanuts also going up… the cost of tour has actually GONE DOWN. With it being Norwich and only 1.5 hours (max) by car or train, I hope to see a very healthy squad out for the trip. We have the added pleasure (and peace of mind) of playing against two clubs with ties to Reed CC. The first, Great Melton CC, have an ex-member amongst their ranks and the second club have our chairman’s son and again ex-Reed CC colt and 1st teamer playing for them. I would expect a large crowd to witness our usual day 3 hungover capitulation.
