Winners of the Club Awards were announced during the recent AGM; congratulations to them all. The Diana Field Cup Award is for the best individual performance of the year. WILLIAM HESLAM The Tony Bysouth Cup Awarded to the best / most improved young player in Open-Age (Adult) cricket. CHARLIE WALTERS The Mike Jackson Cup Awarded to the U15 player who made the most important contributions to Open-Age (Adult) cricket during the year. WILLIAM ARCHER Special Award In recognition for the work "Behind the Scenes" during the Coronavirus Pandemic. New Vice-Presidents elected

Constitution of Reed Cricket Club (2020/21 version)

LATEST VERSION OF THE REED CRICKET CLUB CONSTITUTION, 18th FEBRUARY 2021. GENERAL: 1. The name of the Club is Reed Cricket Club. 2. The objectives of the Club are the provision of opportunities for recreation and socialising for the benefit of members, and the provision and maintenance of a Clubhouse at the Reed Village Green, Reed, Near Royston, Hertfordshire, SG8 8AX. 3. Club colours are royal blue and gold. AFFILIATION: 4. The Club shall be affiliated to, and play under the rules of, the ECB, SHPCL and HCCA. MEMBERSHIP: 5. Every candidate for membership shall apply in writing to the Honorary Secretary who will notify the Executive Committee. Until the candidate is elected as a Member he / she shall not be entitled to any of the privileges of the Club. Applicants shall be elected by the Executive Committee at its sole discretion at the earliest opportunity or shall be elected at a General Meeting of the Club. 6. The membership categories of the Club shall be: a. President; b. Honorary Life Member; c. Vice-President; d. Non-playing / Family Member; e. Playing Member (Senior); f. Playing Member (Junior and Youth). SUBSCRIPTIONS; 7. Every Member shall pay on being admitted to the Club an Annual Subscription that shall be fixed from time to time by the Club’s Annual General Meeting. The Annual Subscription will cover a calendar year, that being the period of 1st January to 31st December (inclusive) in any year. The Committee may, at their discretion, reduce subscriptions to individual members in recognition of services rendered to the club. Agenda for the Sixty-fourth Annual General Meeting of Reed Cricket Club to be held virtually on Thursday 18th February 2021 starting at 2000hrs. 1. Opening address and to confirm the present incumbent, Andrew Emms, as Club President and Chairman of the AGM. No alternative nominations for the position of President have been received within the time allowed. Consequently, Andrew Emms remains as President. 2. Attendance & Apologies. For record purposes, Members submitting votes in the 2021 AGM process will be counted as being present at the meeting. This is in addition to anyone who does not vote but logs-in to the remote Meeting. 3. To announce the results of the balloting process for the following: a. Minutes. Approval of Minutes of the RCC AGM held on 28th November 2019. b. Matters arising. c. To receive the Honorary Secretary’s Report. d. To receive the Annual Accounts – Main, Bar & 100 Club Statements. e. To consider amendments to the Club Constitution. Only members over the age of 16 may vote. A majority of two-thirds of members present at the meeting in favour for changes is required. f. To consider and ratify or amend rates of Subscriptions & Match Fees. Only members over the age of 16 may vote. g.
