Dear Members and Friends of Reed Cricket Club,
We have received the sad news today that our former Club President and long-serving committee member, Howard Marshall, died this morning aged 82.
Howard had been in poor health for some months but was cheered last weekend when he learned of Reed’s victory in the National Village Cup Final at Lord’s.
Attached is a photograph of a proud Howard holding the Village Cup in 2012 when Reed won it for the first time. It is a wonderful photograph capturing a joyful Howard as many of us will remember him.
I am sure you will join with me to send our sympathies to Howard’s children, Justin and Belinda.
When I have any further news to announce I shall let you know. Should you wish to send me any emailed condolences, I shall make sure they are passed-on to Justin and Belinda.
