Reed Cricket Club are always keen to attract new players and particularly for the 2014 season with the 1XI playing in the newly formed Hertfordshire Championship (Premier League 2). You can read more about the new Hertfordshire league structures on their website.
Reed CC is located just north of Royston which is 15 mins from Cambridge and 45 mins from London. We have excellent facilities, with a very good wicket, nets (inc. wheelie net), large pavilion including an excellent bar. Reed is a friendly club with a good social scene.
We have 4XI’s on a Saturday, 2XIs on a Sunday, Midweek 20/20 cricket and a thriving youth cricket section.
In 2012 our 1XI played at “the home of cricket” Lords in 2012 as we won the National Village Cup competition starting with 282 teams. Below is the Sky Sports News report.
