Having won the toss Reed’s Sunday Second captain Peter Baker inserted the visitors, Woodcutters. Neil Haslam (4-2-2-2) struck on his first ball and thus began a bizarre collapse, Matt Giblin led the way for Reed finishing with incredible figures of five for nine. P. Baker then rotated the bowlers seeing that the opposition were really struggling against the opening bowlers with the score on 8 for 7. Which became 19 for 8 after David Hill (5-0-24-1) also struck. Woodcutters then found runs down the order from Browne (28), Proud (14) and Clifton (13*) as they finished on 95 all out from 27 overs. Nick Green (4-0-16-1) and Maseeh Naeem (1-0-4-1) picked up the last two wickets.

In reply Reed made up the runs easily, David Johnson top scored with 33 supported by P. Baker (19) and M. Naeem (17*) who finished with Scott Caine (10*). Reed winning by 7 wickets.
