Saturday (SHPCL):
Mitchell Cooper top-scored for the 1st XI hitting 48 of Reed’s 145 all out. Sean Tidey chipped-in with 28. Radlett lost only 5 wickets in passing the target; 2 wickets each for Karl Ward and Ed Wharton plus a run out by Karl.

A somewhat depleted 2nd XI could manage only 134 in reply to Lutonians’ 307 for 4, so not much to write home about there!

The Thirds were reasonably well-placed at 109 for 3 when the abandonment came after 25 overs. Paul Garrott was out for 33 and Rob Willoughby was 55 not out. Earlier, Rob had taken 3 wickets as had Owen Hughes and Joe Graves added 2 victims in Bamville’s 233 all out.

Nothing had been arranged for Sunday. Enjoy the Bank Holiday as best you can!
