After suffering three straight defeats the ever improving under 9B team won their first ever game in an epic finish at Reed against Braughing. Ollie and Luke set the pace with energetic running whilst Henry top scored with a hard hitting 11. But importantly Ollie, Luke, Atharva, Daniel and Matthew did not get out in a very respectable 265-5.
Excluding four separate overthrows in an all run seven Reed bowled and fielded exceptionally well. Catches were caught by Henry, Matthew and Luke whilst Ollie and Atharva both got two wickets. Matthew, Henry, Daniel and Luke also took a wicket and got four run outs by Daniel (2), Matthew and Ollie.
The match came down to the final over with Braughing needing 8 to win and with the super cool Ollie bowling, he took an important wicket to win the game for Reed.
The team were over the moon in winning in an all round great performance, especially having 2 players not available.
