SATURDAY (SHPCL):
Sean Tidey had a good day! 6 Dunstable wickets in the bag then hitting the winning runs in a 28 not out passing their total of 192. Stuart Smith was 62 not out at the other end and Ed Wharton had scored 41 earlier.

Richard Barlow had a good day too. He scored 80 in the Second XI’s 202 all out in response to Chorleywood’s 268 for 7. A trio of Martins bowled and all took wickets, the most was Marcus with 3 of them.

The Thirds collectively had a bad day! However, Toby Emes was top-scorer with an impressive 39 not out as Reed were bundled out for 101. Steve Hughes claimed the only Hatfield Hyde wicket, a catch by skipper Paul Garrott, as they sailed comfortably past the target.

SUNDAY – RCC CHAIRMAN’S MATCH:
Toby Fynn (104 retired) and Tom Greaves (76) starred with the bat for Stuart Smith’s XI as the Chairman’s team compiled 252 for 3. Bill Mansfield top-scored with 44 in the Peter Tidey XI’s innings of 166. There were 3 wickets each for James Heslam and Mitchell Cooper.
