SATURDAY:
Alex Kelly continued personal good form as he took 2 wickets when he stepped-up to the depleted First XI. But West Herts cruised past Reed’s 156 with only 4 wickets down. Sean Tidey (49) and Stuart Smith (35) were the main run-getters but Reed slid down to fourth place with just 2 matches remaining.
The Seconds are also in fourth place. Hertford rattled up 297 for 7 on the Green but Reed were well-short having been bowled out for 175. George Teeboon top-scored with 37 and both Mike Robertson and Rich Barlow got past 30. Earlier, Julien Fynn took 4 wickets and Joe Graves, 3.
The Thirds slipped up at Harpenden Dolphins and were all out for 162. MJE Baker led from the front with 82 then later Jack Childs took 2 of the 3 Dolphins’ wickets to fall as they romped home with 7 wickets intact.

SUNDAY:
Karl Ward hit 13 fours in his 74 against Camden on the Green and Stuart Smith bashed 6 fours and 2 sixes whilst scoring 41. Lloyd Bowman weighed-in with 33 not out. 204 was 25 too much for Camden as they ended on 179 for 9, 4 wickets falling to Ollie Sayers.
