Reed’s Under 13s played in freezing conditions on the Green to overcome Sawbridgeworth U13s on Wednesday evening.
Jack Beber (30) and Charlie Walters (23) contributed most of the runs from the bat although Reed’s total was bolstered by a large amount of extras.
In reply, and in near darkness, Sawbo fell just 6 runs short. The wickets were shared between Beber, Adam Gardner and Sam Osborne with 2 each, and Matthew Liebenberg with 1.
