Reed remained in the National Village Cup after overhauling Findon’s 142 with 3 wickets in hand. Findon (West Sussex) now leave the competition as do Frensham (Surrey) and Foxton (Cambs & Norfolk).
Frensham (102) lost to Sibton Park from Kent (103 for 3) by 7 wickets.
In a close encounter at Mayfield (East Sussex), there was a 50.5% to 49.5% division of the runs. In other words Mayfield totalled 139 and Foxton scored 136.
Our next match in the NVC will be played at REED on Sunday, 10th July starting at 1.00pm versus Sibton Park.
Hopefully we will have fair weather and a good crowd to cheer on the team.
