Reed batted first in this Sunday 40 over friendly game and scored steadily, with Paul Watts and Tom Fulk putting on 39 for the first wicket. Two wickets then went in two balls as Watts and Goodship were dismissed. Michael Robertson then joined Fulk, getting off the mark with a six and sharing a stand of 87 in 13 overs with Robertson falling for 49. Fulk then put on another 44 runs with Conrad Wellstead before falling for a majestic 79. Wellstead then took up the attack reaching fifty off the last ball of the innings. Reed had reached 243-6 off their allotted 40 overs.

Reed used seven bowlers, but were unable to tempt Pulloxhill into chasing the target and they reached 142 for 7 off their 40 overs. Reed ran out a convincing 101 run winners.
